I started looking into SMP and looking at different artists work. I found out James was close to where i lived so i reached out to see what he had to say. I was looking for “density work”. He was quick to tell me this is not how SMP works. its meant to be a 2D effect and that smp is meant to be done light and with a maintained shaved head. It was food for thought and I wasnt able to fully commit to shaving it off at the time. I listened to him though and looked at other artists work. It became very clear to me that James not only knew what he was talking about, but probably saved my scalp from being destroyed by dark pigmentation. I reached back out about 6-7 months later and finally committed to shaving it and getting NATURAL smp done by James. It was the best decision i ever made. He outlined the whole process to me, made me feel comfortable, and was there to support along the whole journey. The work is incredible to say the least. Its natural, clean, and unrecognizable as a tattoo. I am so lucky to have found someone who was honest enough to point me in the right direction. While looking at the industry and realizing his work is top tier, it was his integrity and honesty that made me realize he was the right person to get my SMP done. I cant thank him enough for giving me my confidence back. He is a true professional all the way around, and i havent looked back since getting smp from him.

One of the best decisions I've made. I can't recommend James enough. I had my final session a couple of months back and the results are amazing, subtle and he even customized the hairline to my head shape and frown lines. I wish I had it done sooner. What can I say, I was extremely careful about who I’d trust with my scalp. I did my homework, and after seeing James’s work, I knew this was the place I wanted to go. I live four hours away, so this wasn’t a small decision for me. I work in a higher level office role and I’m constantly in meetings, so I didn’t want to pick somewhere cheaper or closer just for convenience. I wanted the best.
I was new to the whole process, a bit skeptical, and honestly hesitant, but I booked the consult and the appointment. James was a complete professional, and I can confidently say I have zero regrets choosing him for my SMP.

James provides the highest quality service, some people skip the smallest things because they don't think they matter, James won't do that, each part of the process matters to him. If he has to pick the gun back up because he sees the smallest space to place another dot, he will do it and that is what sets him apart.
I was in communication with him for over a year and just wish I had it done sooner. I can't even remember what I look like without it done but its literally such amazing work that its inspired others to have it done when they see it and people have been reaching out to me saying just how good it looks. James is a master at work, not only that you gotta spend 3 - 4 hours with this dude, and he is just good energy to be around.
I also took his course so that I can provide services in my area in the future, and I will say its an amazing experience. Well worth the money. You can watch videos, but its not the same as learning from a mentor. If you care and he picks up on it being genuine he will be there to make sure you succeed, not just for yourself but for your future clients and what that work means for the industry as a whole.

I thought I'd done my homework on SMP, but I ended up getting a first session from a practitioner who prioritizes money over quality and who advertises great work but does not deliver; the session lasted barely 90min and the result was uneven, blotchy pigmentation that didn't match my actual hair color. It messed me up, because I had to hide under a hat and didn't know what to do next. Due diligence and buyer beware: these are words to live by if you're thinking about SMP. I sought out James' insight and am now on the right path. He took the time, even on his day off, to meet me at his amazing studio so that he could examine the bad SMP himself, show me what proper technique looks like, and provide options. It was fixable, he said, but he rightly advised that laser removal would be the best choice because a blank canvas leads to optimal results. At James' recommendation, I booked with Lee at Laser Away Ink in Cambridge, who did a fantastic job at removing the pigment. I'm on the right path now, thanks to the first-rate work that James and Lee provide. I got my training at Enhance Pigment Academy the instructor James and Benji are very knowledgeable and helpful explaining the techniques and the 3 day classes was not rush. I got more confidence to start on my family scalp after I graduate this class.

I got my training at Enhance Pigment Academy the instructor James and Benji are very knowledgeable and helpful explaining the techniques and the 3 day classes was not rush. I got more confidence to start on my family scalp after I graduate this class.
We are in good hand of these mentor are very patience with us.
